Wireless and Telecommunication in Measurements
TC-13 Technical Committee Meeting
14th of October, Faculty of Electrical Engineering Iasi, Romania
Wireless networks, and wireless sensors networks are the fastest growing fields in entire technological history. Are mobile phones expressions of identity, fashionable gadgets, tools for life–or all of the above? Mobile Communication and Society looks at how the possibility of multimodal communication from anywhere to anywhere at any time affects everyday life at home, at work, and at school, and raises broader concerns about politics and culture both global and local.
In this context the new interdependence between the wireless communications and measurements may be evaluated in order to provide reliable solutions for smart cities and for m-health integrated in the smart cities. The work of the TC-13, that is an open technical committee to accept new members from around the word is focused in field of interest such as modern mobile radio (cellular, WLAN, satellite, 3G and 4G broadband multimedia systems) with application in measurements including measurements in smart cites and measurements for healthcare.
The TC-13 Meeting program organized by local organizing committee chair, Prof. David Valeriu and the IEEE TC-13 chair Prof. Aux. Octavian Postolache from Instituto de Telecomunicações/ISCTE-IUL, Lisbon will include:
